Teen Creative Photography Workshop: Monday through Friday, July 19-23, 1:00 to 4:00 PM Local artist Robert Osborn (www.robertosborn.com), whose photography retrospective will be on display at the Center through July, will instruct this course for teens. Osborn began his photography career documenting BMX races in his publications BMX Action and Freestylin’, later showing his large-format fine art photography in museums and galleries, before switching gears to build Harley choppers. Several years ago, Osborn’s love for photography was rekindled when he began experimenting with digital photography. In this class, Osborn will cover technical components of digital photography (shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings, exposure, depth-of-field, noise, white balance), as well as the creative side of photography…what raises a photo to the level of art. Small Format, Fine Art Photography Workshop: Saturday and Sunday, July 31st and Aug. 1, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM This workshop for adults, taught by highly successful and experienced photographer Robert Osborn (www.robertosborn.com), whose photography retrospective will be on display at the Center through July, will present a solid introduction to digital single lens reflex fine art photography. The Saturday session will cover the technical components (shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings, exposure, depth-of-field, noise, white balance). The Sunday session will address the creative side of photography…what raises a photo to the level of art. Cost: $75 non-members; $65 members
